Krucial to attend ADIPEC to support global energy transition

Krucial is to take part in the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference Awards (ADIPEC), the world’s largest technical meeting place for energy professionals.

Krucial will be on the Scottish Pavilion, run by Scottish Development International, as part of the Scottish delegation, and will have the opportunity to engage with more than 150,000 attendees and 2,200 other exhibitors.

The Scottish Pavilion will be located alongside the UK in Hall 8 next to the USA, German, French and Norwegian Pavilions.

Krucial will be talking to potential clients and partners from all over the world about how its resilient connectivity platform can enable energy transition to sustainable fuel sources. Around 90% of the earth’s surface can’t be connected to a cellular network. By using Krucial CONNECT, which can switch automatically between cellular and satellite depending on which is available, users can access their IoT data anytime, from anywhere on earth.

The theme of this year’s event is ‘The Future of Energy: Secure, Affordable and Sustainable’. As climate change continues to top the agenda of businesses and governments across the world, Krucial is well placed to play a leading role in enabling the digitization of the energy sector to ensure an efficient and effective transition.

Commenting on the announcement, Krucial Co-founder and CTO Kevin Quillien said:

“This is a fantastic opportunity for Krucial to engage with people across the energy supply chain, from potential partners to end users, and explain the clear benefits of satellite-enabled connectivity.

“As the sector enters a new phase, one which will prioritise sustainability, it’s clear that continuous monitoring to ensure best practice is fundamental to that journey.

“From retrofitting legacy assets to improved ESG reporting, seamless connectivity and global coverage hold significant opportunities for an industry which is talking more and more about improved sustainability.

“Data blackspots can be a thing of the past, so understanding the impact of operations and maximising sustainability are both achievable goals.”
