Expanding the reach of IoT-based asset monitoring – Informed Infrastructure with Krucial and Bentley Systems free webcast

Krucial co-founders Allan Cannon and Kevin Quillien will join senior leaders from world-leading software company Bentley Systems to discuss IoT asset monitoring – and the connectivity challenges to be overcome – in a free upcoming webcast.

The discussion will provide a deep dive into the developments into satellite-based connectivity and how innovative solutions are enabling the expansion of infrastructure and asset monitoring to areas with patchy or non-existent access to terrestrial communications infrastructure. Attendees will be able to learn about overcoming connectivity challenges, using satellite-based connectivity with IoT to monitor critical assets, and real world applications of this technology in action.

Historically, projects deploying IoT monitoring solutions in remote locations have often come up against challenges such as inadequate network coverage and limited access to infrastructure – meaning mission-critical data can be patchy, limited or completely inaccessible. With new hybrid connectivity solutions, which utilize cellular and satellite backhauls within one offering, these challenges can now be overcome and blindspots made a thing of the past.

Taking place at 6pm GMT/1pm ET on Tuesday, 6 February, the panel will be moderated by Todd Danielson, editorial director at V1 Media, with Allan and Kevin joined by Alan Jones, senior director of business development, infrastructure IoT at Bentley Systems.
